It feels like AI Eve, when it comes to art. I don’t mean to suggest that AI isn’t already here. The technology has very much arrived. We’re already seeing a stalled labor market, profligate misinformation, even suicides. The military is using AI making decisions about where to drop bombs, which is almost as scary as Pete Hegseth doing so.
But right now, I default to assuming that the art I enjoy was created by humans. And I don’t know how much longer that will remain true, unless things change swiftly.
